What is EIP?

EIP is an acronym for a state funded program known as "Early Intervention Program." As EIP teachers we are part of the county Response to Intervention team, and support student learning with specific needs by going into the classroom to lower the teacher-student ratio or pulling small groups into our classrooms. Students qualify for EIP services based on a variety of data and receive instructional support to address areas of deficit. We progress monitor student performance to track improvement with the goal of exiting the program.
